”Serbian Minister of Internal Affairs, Aleksandar Vulin explained yesterday in Banja Luka that his country respects and insists on consistent implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement, which means that Republika Srpska (RS) must be preserved in accordance with this agreement, ” agency Srna reported.

”It is not up to me to make decisions on behalf of RS. Any policy of conditioning and demanding something, which is required from one entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), is not the one that Serbia can support, ” Vulin told reporters while answering the question of what he expects from the special session of the National Assembly of RS (NARS) on the return of competencies, scheduled for tomorrow, December 10th.

Vulin noted that Serbia has full confidence in RS and its citizens.

”Serbia considers the decisions adopted in accordance with the Dayton Agreement legitimate. Serbia is focused on peace and stability in BiH, and we will not put pressure on the RS institutions to make a decision, because it is up to its legitimate representatives,” Vulin concluded.
