Official opening of the A Transversal, which goes from the Sarajevo International Airport to the roundabout in Mojmilo, will be held today.
The main section of the A transversal will be in function, while the majority of service roads will be put into operation in the next few days.
The construction of the A transversal commenced on September 4, 2015. Although the contractor announced that the works will be completed this summer, due to property and legal issues that did not happen. However, the construction was completed before the deadline foreseen in the project.
The opening of the A Transversal will be held on the occasion of the Day of the Novi Grad Sarajevo Municipality. After putting this road into operation, a special session will be held in the multimedia hall of the Municipality, where the highest municipal recognitions will be presented.
