trebevic-cable-carThe building of the cable car leading to Trebevic Mountain should start very soon.

The municipality of Stari Grad issued the necessary urban permit, which allowed the start of the preparation of works, ie marking the construction site, water and electricity connections and other segments that are necessary for the whole project. Namely, four regulatory plans were changed prior to issuing of an urban permit.

The administration of the City of Sarajevo will submit a request for a building permit within a few days, after which the construction of a cable car will start.

As the supervisory organ, the Sarajevo Canton Government appointed the Construction Department of Canton Sarajevo and Dzekos as the contractor.

The cable car will be built on an old pre-war route, will have the starting and the ending station, 40 booths, and will take eight minutes drive to Trebevic Mountain.
