64th Birthday of “Mladen Pozaić” Music School

IMG_8127 (1)On Friday, 28 February the elementary school “Mladen Pozaić” celebrated its 64th birthday, which was marked with a concert that included the performances of its best students. The guests included representatives of municipality Stari Grad, Music Academy and other music institutions, and children from the kindergarten ‘Nur’ and parents of the students.

In a full hall, the Director of the school Bakir Kulenović spoke and provided a brief history of the school. This music institution, which is the oldest in the city and one of the oldest in the region, opened in 1950, and currently there are 400 students at 7 instrument departments and ballet.

In the 64 years of the work of this school, there were more than 13.000 students.
