Canton Sarajevo allocates Financial Assistance to Croatia after Earthquake

At today’s session of the Government of Sarajevo Canton, the initiative was accepted for Sarajevo Canton to send assistance to the Sisak-Moslavina County of the Republic of Croatia, in the form of financial resources in the amount of 50,000 BAM, for the needs of Petrinja, Glina and Sisak, cities affected by the devastating earthquake.

A telegram was sent from the Government of Canton Sarajevo today to the Government of the Republic of Croatia, with words of deepest condolences to the families of the tragically killed citizens, as well as hopes that the affected areas will repair the severe consequences of this catastrophe as soon as possible.

The Government of CS also expressed its readiness to provide the authorities of the Republic of Croatia with other types of necessary assistance, both material and technical, as well as assistance in the form of sending medical and other teams to the areas affected by the earthquake.
