East West Centre Sarajevo in the Royal Opera in Stockholm

operaEast West Centre Sarajevo performed last night in Sweden’s Royal Opera in Stockholm, Kungliga Operen.

This is the first time in the tradition of this famous opera house to have a foreign company performing on its stage.

East West performed the play “Roses for Anna Teresa”, directed by Haris Pašović.

Aida Čorbadžić, BH opera singer, sang soprano in the show, while Thomas Steyaert, Ulisse Romano, Ibrahim Outtara, Aydar Valeev and Gaj Žmavc were dancing.

The show was created in co-production with the Bosnian National Theatre in Zenica, and at the Festival MES it received an award for the best choreography, as announced from the East West Center.
