Minister Mašić said that the project ‘Volunteer-Lend’ achieved fantastic results and provided a good example of how the authorities, representatives of the non-governmental sector and business together with students can achieve a project from which all can have use.

The Coordinator of the project of the Association Infohouse Dalila Bavčić explained that the main goal of this fair is to link high school students with their local communities in order to propose solutions to problems observed in the local communities.

‘’We are trying to encourage high school students to take their role in society in order to for it to benefit their ideas and energy’’ said Bavčić.

The Ministry of Education and Science, during the last seven days of social day, for the second time in a row, was the ‘Top Employer’ and in one day employed 80 high school students, a part in the Ministry and a part in partner institutions and organizations.

The fair for lending, as well as social day, are parts of the project ‘Volunteer-Lend’, which in the last few years in our country achieved significant results.

At the upcoming fair of the lending project 90 high schools from 42 B&H municipalities will present their project applications, and students will compete for cash prizes in the maximum amount of 1.500 BAM.
