Bosnian cuisine and its traditional delicacies are definitely one of the most popular among foreigners, and that is contributed by many citizens of BiH who are working on its promotion in Europe and the entire world through their successful catering businesses.  Numerous famous chefs showed even greater interest in our cuisine, and they have been frequently visiting our country as well.

Among the famous chefs who worked on the presentation of BH cuisine is Dirk Hoffmann, a popular TV chef in Germany. He presented the restaurant Sarajevo Inn Grunewald in Berlin, which is owned by Mirsad Fikic Micky, in his TV project “BBQ – Multikulti”. This restaurant is among favorite places for our people in Germany and other countries, and many famous and prominent citizens of Germany are its regular guests as well.

Dirk Hoffmann visited this restaurant with his TV crew and recorded how BBQ looks in a Bosnian way. Hoffmann had the opportunity to see how burek (meat pie) is made, as well as the preparation of lamb on the grill,  veal on the grill, kebabs, and he also tried the Bosnian coffee. The atmosphere during his stay was completed by musicians Dusko, Mico, and Bobi, who played several songs for Dirk.

“Dirk was fascinated by our way of work, and he never saw this grilling technique before although he is a top chef. His visit made us very happy, and the visit of German TV house that millions of people are watching is a great compliment for us as well. We invited him to visit our BiH, and to see and learn more of our delicacies,” stated Mirsad Fikic.
