Government of Federation of BiH to decide on Importer of Vaccines Today

At last night’s emergency session, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina took note of the Information that the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, at the proposal of the FBiH Public Health Institute, sent letters of intent to procure vaccines against SARS-Cov-2 (COVID-19), for the following companies: Bosnalijek dd Sarajevo (Sputnik V and Astra Zeneca), Medimpex d.o.o. Sarajevo (Astra Zeneca and Sputnik V), Oktal pharma d.o.o. Sarajevo (Johnson & Johnson, Astra Zeneca and Sputnik V) and TUZLA FARM d.o.o. (Astra Zeneca and Sputnik V). MGM Kakanj and Krajina – group from Banja Luka remain in the game.

The Government of the FBiH has authorized the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, at the proposal of the Institute of Public Health of the FBiH, to send other letters of intent that this Institute considers necessary to send for the procurement of vaccines.

The Government of the Federation of BiH has taken note of the Information of the Institute of Public Health of the FBiH regarding the implementation of the indebtedness according to the Conclusion of the Government of the FBiH of March 11, 2021. and Information from the meeting of the Ad hoc team for negotiations with vaccine manufacturers and / or authorized representatives for the procurement of coronavirus vaccines.

The FBiH Public Health Institute is in charge of reviewing all offers of companies that have expressed interest in participating in the vaccine procurement process and that will eventually express interest, and to submit final bids by 16:00, with price, deadline, quantity and guarantee for good performance of work, so that the Ad hoc team would meet again and review all received bids, and inform the Government of the Federation of BiH.
