How much do They Earn and who are the Best Paid Athletes in BiH?

B&H football representationMost of the best athletes born in BiH are able to prove their quality and talent on the international level, where their talent was recognized at the time.

Consequently, they get valuable contracts and are paid as much as they really deserve.

We present below a list of highest-paid athletes from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The fifth place is occupied by Jusuf Nurkić, who is a BH basketball player and one of the highest-paid young players of this sport in the world. In the season 2014/2015, Nurkić will earn 1.39 million, and in the next season 1.47 million, according to US media.

Vedad Ibisevic is on the fourth place and according to German media, Bosnian international and member of the Stuttgart earns between 2.25 and 2.5 million. During the summer Ibisevic extended contract with the German team by the year 2017.

The third place is occupied by Mirza Teletović who is Brooklyn Nets basketball player and captain of the Bosnian national team. During this season he will earn 2.74 million. His contract with the NBA team expires in 2016.

Miralem Pjanic is on the second place. One of the best players in the Italian Roma and the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina Miralem Pjanic earns 3.2 million euros, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. His contract with the Italian club expires in 2018.

The first place belongs to Edin Dzeko, the best paid athlete of Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team. He recently extended his contract with the team of Manchester City until 2018. Weekly he earns approximately 190,000 euros. His annual salary exceeds 9.8 million.
