Edin Denjo, the head of the Refugee Center in Salakovac, said that everything is slowly getting together here.

“We have a large number of people here, and we need a time to provide our services to all of them. Last night we were dividing blankets and sheets until 8 p.m., and now we divided shampoos and towels. We serve breakfast in the morning, lunch at 2 p.m., and dinner at 7.30 p.m. We are making lists, but I was surprised when I saw that there were 44 children. Our first information stated that there were 18 children among the migrants, but the actual number is much higher. We also have one pregnant woman, ” said Denjo, and added that a total of 260 migrants came to Center Salakovac.

“The important thing is that everyone got registered, they received documents from the Ministry of Security, the Department for Foreigners, and therefore they can be received in the Center now,” said Edin Denjo.

Ased from Punjab, Pakistan, is also one of the migrants in the Center Salakovac and he has been away from his home for a year and a half.

“I was in Iran first, then I went to Turkey where I spent at least three months. After that, I managed to go to Greece where I spent about two months, and then to Macedonia, Serbia, until I arrived in BiH, where I am planning to stay. People here are really good, they have been helping us in Sarajevo every day,” said Ased.

He said that he is generally satisfied with the conditions they have in the center, that they have everything they need at the moment, but that meals could be a little bit bigger. He, as well as numerous others, said that he is not planning to travel any further, and he was interested in where is the nearest mosque.
