Srebrenica Mine klix.baLead and Zinc Mine “Sase” in Srebrenica this year achieved a record mining of 323,730 tons of ore, or 7.2 percent more than planned.

Investments in “Sase” this year amount to 4,866,200 BAM or by 17.5 percent more than planned.

President of the Steering Committee of this collective Jelena Petrić said that 27,860,300 BAM have been invested since the signing of concession contract until the mid of this month. This shows that the Thirty Years Plan of investments in this mine amounting to 28 million BAM, which is the amount of concession contractual investment obligation, is almost completed.

Speaking of concession obligations, Petrić stated that Mine “Sase” in this year paid 1,234,000 BAM in the budget of Republika Srpska on the basis of concession fees, and 8,434,200 BAM in total have been paid since the beginning of the contract implementation.

“On the basis of taxes and contributions for salaries, 4,212,959 BAM in total have been paid, 466,579 BAM have been paid for accelerated retirement, and 174,975 BAM for contribution to solidarity,” Petrić specified and highlighted that all liabilities on the basis of direct and indirect taxes are being fulfilled regularly.
