The Deadline for Registration for the RS Presidential Elections has expired

The deadline for applications from political parties and independent candidates to participate in the early elections for the President of Republika Srpska expired today at 4:00 p.m., the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.

The CEC says that five political parties and one independent candidate have submitted applications to participate in the early elections for the President of Republika Srpska.

The political parties that have submitted applications are: the Alliance for New Politics, the Ecological Party of Republika Srpska, For Justice and Order-Nebojša Vukanović’s List, the Serbian Democratic Party and the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats-SNSD.

The independent candidates who have submitted applications are: Slavko Dragičević and Igor Gašević.

“The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina will verify and certify those political parties and independent candidates who meet the requirements prescribed by law,” the statement added.
