Ironworks Ilijas to invest in the Construction of 20 million EUR worth Foundry

zeljezaraOn the meeting that the Mayor of Ilijas held on the occasion of summarizing the results of the previous and presentation of plans for the next year, a meeting with businessmen from the municipality of Ilijas was held as well.

Director of Ironworks Ilijas Almir Puscul also attended the meeting and he announced new investments.

“We currently have a 20 million EUR worth investment for construction of a foundry for parts of Skoda cars and we are planning to modernize and revitalize the old foundry. We are also planning to hire new employees in 2016.”

This new investment will mark the next year of operations in this sector and create new drivers for both the Ironworks and the Prevent Group in B&H. This type of work is a step towards vertical integration in the sector of metal industry, which can confirm the serious intentions for strengthening of potential of the metal processing industry in B&H.
