Snow Falling in Sarajevo

After Slovenia and Croatia, where it made big problems, snow began to fall in the morning hours in some parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, more precisely in Krajina, and then on Vlasic, Bjelasnica and Jahorina, while in the evening hours the first snowflakes arrived in the capital city ​​of BiH.

Somewhere after 8 p.m. some Sarajevo streets were covered in recorded.

Meteorologists, however, announce that snow will not last long in the lowlands, perhaps only a day or two, and but remain above 500 meters above sea level.

“In Sarajevo, snow has accumulated and we expect more during the night. Snow is also falling in western Bosnia and the mountains, and in the night from Monday to Tuesday, it will spread to other cities in Bosnia,” the weather meteorologist at the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute said.

They point out that snow and snow drift will fall in most parts of Bosnia tomorrow, while in Herzegovina rain is expected.

Temperatures will range from zero to four degrees in Bosnia, and in Herzegovina to 12 degrees Celsius.
