The Day Care Center for Children Opened in Zenica

kinderpostzegels-logoThe Association of Citizens “Pomirenje” (Reconciliation), Foundation for improving social inclusion of children and young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina (IN Foundation) and Kinderpostzegels from Netherlands have provided 9.000 euros for day care center for children in Zenica, that officially opened today.

This organization operates in B&H already few years and addresses the issues of children protection and their rights. The center that has opened today due to their financial support is one of 11 centers which exist in B&H.

The main role of the day care center, said Huseinović, is to provide a safe space for children. Users of the center are children at risk, such as children from families with problems. Through this project will be directly included around 30 to 60 children, and for the children will take care three full-time employees and about 10 volunteers as well as a psychologist and a medical employee who will come to the center when is needed.
